What is a Tincture?
Oil-in-oil tinctures are a standard among CBD product enthusiasts, favored for their ease of use and reliability. By definition, a tincture is any small amount of extracted essential oil suspended in a solution. Our line-up of broad spectrum oil-in-oil tinctures contain approximately 1000 mg of US-sourced, broad spectrum hemp oil distillate suspended in high quality MCT (fractionated coconut oil). What about THC?
Because our products are formulated using broad spectrum hemp oil distillate, we can assure our customers that each tincture will contain less than 0.1% THC by weight, per 30 mL bottle. What does Broad Spectrum mean?
Broad spectrum hemp oil distillate is a hemp-derived product comprised mostly of CBD, created by refining full spectrum hemp oil through the removal of select molecules (ie. THC). Using this type of extract as an active ingredient ensures product compliance, with each tincture testing well below the federally mandated THC level for hemp products, while also allowing for the presence of additional cannabinoids, flavonoids, and terpenes. It is believed that these molecules work coactively with CBD in what is known as the “Entourage Effect”, adding to the potential therapeutic value of broad spectrum hemp oil distillate products.
